Maybe having a beer or two
A skinny dip, a daylight screw
Looking forward to sunny days
Dancing and singing our cares away
None of us would ever dream that we would die this way
Then Little Peetie Jergins set upon us
Claiming bloody vengeance with his blade
We never stood a chance against his undead rage
The night of the Terror at Blood Lake

A summer camp once graced this shore
But it was closed forevermore
When Peetie Jergins burned alive
While the counselors tried to score
Now his undead spirit walks
Through these woods and down the docks
Hacking nubile bodies into bloody chunks of gore

Maryanne was gutted with a hunting knife
And Billy took a hatchet to the face
And Robin’s broken body was wrapped around an old oak tree
The night of the Terror at Blood Lake

Somehow, I survived that night
I wouldn’t go without a fight
I pulled the pitchfork from Sally’s breast
And ran it clean through Peetie’s chest
Doused his body with kerosene
Lit a match, you should have seen
The way that Peetie kicked and screamed as the shed went up in flames

Now a little bit of Peetie lives inside me
There’s a shadow on my soul I just can’t shake
When the darkness overcomes me, I slip on Peetie’s mask
And become, the terror at blood lake
